After doing the phone and water challenge and learning more about poverty, read one of the following article and do the following activity

Blog Assignment: Poverty

Step 1: Look up 2 of the organizations listed and explore the websites and answer the following questions.

1. Which 2 organizations did you choose learn more about?

2. Have you heard of any of the organizations listed? What can we do to make these organizations known?

3. What specific location does the organizations help feed?

4. What are 3 poverty facts that you learned from each organization?

5. Do you think that these organizations are making an impact on global poverty? Why or why not?

6. Would you volunteer to these organizations? If not, what would you do to help end global poverty?

Step 3: Respond to one of your peer's thoughts. 

1. What did you learn about poverty from their research?

2.  Do you agree with what your classmate said? Why or why not?

3. From what your classmate said, would you volunteer or donate to these organizations?
